Besides playing the  tapan Jeroen has also specialised himself
in building and restoring these instruments.
After years of research and experimenting,  Jeroen has developed
his own method to build good sounding quality Tapans.

In this
building process he combines the best techniques from several
traditional builders in combination with modern and durable materials.

Jeroen also has experience with repairing other (mostly percussion)
instruments such as  Darbuka's, Deire’s en Dohol’s.
